The end of Blade made me cry.
Stupid Kenzaki.
I can't even say "why'd you have to do that?"
because I understand why he did it. He did it for Hajime, except it wasn't even just for Hajime. And it wasn't even just to save humanity, either. He did it to preserve his own faith in an individual's ability to "fight fate". He realized Hajime couldn't fight off Joker anymore, but he STILL believed in him, and he refused to destroy that faith. So he did the only thing he could do to preserve it, to give Hajime the push he needed. To give him the gift of being able to live and love like a human being, because he had faith that was what Hajime wanted. I mean... sealing Hajime, that would have been understandable, and he would have done it knowing Hajime WANTED him to seal him (like at the end of the movie), but then he'd have destroyed his faith, and Kenzaki is just so kind and generous that he would rather forsake his own life rather than allow Hajime to admit defeat.
Seriously, Kamen Rider has never made me outright CRY before. I mean, the Hoppers made me kinda choke up a little, but not CRY like it was freaking Steel Magnolias or something.
Stupid Kenzaki.
Best Kamen Rider series ever. Even if I haven't seen so many of the others. ;______;
