#1. Why do you dislike #11 so much?
BECAUSE IT SUCKS ASS.
Once an SxSer, always an anti-SxKer.
#2. Who do you know that ships #13?
dimmie \XD/
#3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3?
Hmmm... Well, I think the Episode G contradicts this, but I really like the idea that back when Aioria was maybe 13 or so and everyone scorned him as the brother of a traitor, Shaka was the one person to show him any compassion, and that that stuck with him. Lots of angsty repressed feelings on Aioria's part, and on Shaka's part... well, he'd try not to get attached, being the reincarnation of Buddha and all, and this would lead to him alternatig being compassionate and showing glimmers of understanding, with being cold and unaccesible, so even MORE angst for Aioria. \XD/
#4. What is your favorite moment for #1?
Well, if one means canon moment... Atobe telling Shishido "I won't do this again" after speaking to Sakaki on his behalf.
#5. How long have you been following couple #6?
Oh wow... 7 years?
#6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring?
Well, I will admit that my conception of SanaAto was getting sort of ridiculous and too romance-novely. At around that time,
muzivitch and I had a spy AU in which Atobe was actually split into twins, and while Keiko was with (male) Sanada, Keigo up and decided he was going to get together with Shishido. I'd sort of been a closet ShishiAto fan for a long long time, and that was pretty much all the push I needed to come out, as it were, and after that, ShishiAto became my main PoT ship.
But there was also the SanaAto flashback in which Atobe jogs to Rikkai to challenge Sanada to a teniduel and Yukimura stops them. That match made me realize two things: one, I kinda like SanaYuki if Yukimura is ebil and pwns Sanada, and two, I love it when Sanada and Atobe are at each others' throats in a true rivalry way.
#7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4?
Probably #2. See, I love Touya/Yuki (#4), and it was my first m/m OTP, but I also know that a large part of why I liked it so much was that the idea that CLAMP had m/m canon pairings in a series like CCS was just SHINNY, and that cute as they are, they're also so domestic and conflict-free that I'm not sure I'd be so interested in them if I was just getting into CCS now, after after so many conflictive/explosive slash OTPs.
#8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.
AtoJi (#12). Why? I will never ever like TezuFuji, but truth be told, I just don't give a shit about it anymore. Truth be told, my virulent dislike of TezuFuji was just as much because of the people that shipped it as because of the pairing itself, and I don't care enough to be annoyed by it anymore.
On the other hand, AtoJi always annoyed me in and of itself more than its shippers did (not that I don't find a lot of AtoJi shippers annoying, I just was never actively at war with them), and not only do I find it just as icky and annoying today as I ever did, I now have the added factor of Kazuki/Takuya, which I find even MORE icky and gross and tinhatty (and not in a GOOD way).
#9. What interests you about #14?
The fact that Sanada clearly has ISSUES where Kirihara is concerned. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE YanaKiri, it's my Akaya OTP, but the idea of Sanada harboring secret lust for Akaya, and being horrified and disturbed by this fact is just way too amusing for me not to be intrigued.
#10. When did you stop liking #7?
It was a combination of me realizing that Shishido was way too seme to be uke to Ohtori and hating the fandom's utterly ridiculous Blushing&Virginal!UkeOhtori.
There's more, but basically it boils down to that.
#11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series?
Uh, no. My waxing interest in ChitoKura did. :D
#12. What's a song that reminds you of #5?
UH. I've never about it. :D
"Stand by me"
#13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?
ShishiAto is what I'm most actively into right now, but Fuuma/Kakyou is like... the eternal OTP, always there in the back of my mind, and I'm just as fascinated by it.
#14. Which do you dislike the most?
SxK
#15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?
HEE!! Well, logistics-wise, ShishiAto and ChitoKura exist in the same manga. On the other hand, Shige and Mizuno on a double date with Chitose and Kura just opens the door to all sorts of hijinks and mayhen. \XD/
#16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if yes.
Uh, hell yeah? They have had teh hawt buttsecks too. \XD/
Elaborate? Well, it started off as a no strings attached thing, because each thought the other was hot, but then feelings developed. It took a long time for them to admit to them, because Chitose had all those unresolved Tachibana issues.
#17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely?
Yes, they did. Their story certainly ends on a happy note in CCS, and I personally believe that they lived happily ever after, surrounded by unicorns and rainbows. \XD/
#18. What would make you start shipping #14?
Nothing. I like YanaKiri way too much, and the FUN thing about SanaKiri is that it's so BADWRONG and Sanada is horrified by it and it must never be.
#19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer--#2 or #6?
Fuuma/Kakyou (#6). Why? Well, personally, because I like the fact that PoT is a shounen manga full of subtext and in which no pairing is really canon (even Baka Pair, because that's clearly meant as a joke from Konomi to the fans). To change that would be to change what PoT is.
On the other hand, Fuuma/Kakyou is something that I adore so much because it's technically possible, in the sense that it's CLAMP, so canon gay can happen, and there's so much tenderness in the interaction that I really do believe that there's something there, but it's impossible because, well, "their fate was foreordained", and Kakyou is too hung up on his memories of Hokuto and crippled by the sense of how powerless he is too change the future. And Fuuma is too caught up in his and Kamui's wish, and being the kamui of the DoE weighs too much on his shoulders and pretty much dooms them in the sense that if he wins, they all die, and if he loses, HE dies, unless the future changes, and not just that, but he's supposed to kill Kakyou because that's what kakyou thinks his wish is. And I personally believe that Fuuma has hinted again and again that that's not Kakyou's wish, and he's OFFERED TO TAKE HIM TO THE SEA, and I still think that's their loophole, but the beauty and tragedy of it all is that Kakyou won't realize that Fuuma can save him, and that by letting Fuuma save him he might just save both of them and their relationship is doomed (and besides, I'm not delusional enough to not realize that CLAMP meant it to be Fuuma/Kamui as much as Seishirou/Subaru), so for all those reasons, I really wish it COULD happen and the bittersweet beauty of it is that it won't ever be.
#20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them?
Tezuka falls in love with and marries Miyuki. \XD/
At this point I really couldn't care less about Fuji, but since the only way that I find him bearable is in the context of TakaFuji, that's who he ends up with. :D
