(no subject)
Not so much has happened since my last post.
I've seen Quantum of Solace. Most excellent movie. I went with Justin and one of my new friends, Sarah, from work. Sarah and I also got our nails done together, which I had never done; it was silly, girly fun. Which means it was awesome. We want to go see the Changeling next. Justin says he'll stay home for that one.
We've infected Beth and Daniel from BUF with Rock Band; Daniel bought Rock Band 2 for Beth for her birthday after playing it with us once. Muah-ha-ha! Someone to play video games with! And a NEW video game! Our gloriously devious machinations have succeeded.
I miss my books. Not necessarily to read, but just to flip through and examine. I'm missing the art books and make-up books especially terribly right now. I want some new imagery in my head/surrondings. Must invest in some artwork. White walls are inspriation-numbing.
And I miss not having anyone to call and hang-out with whenever, or even to have a regular group of friends to chill with on the weekends. I have four days off in a row before Thanksgiving (both a blessing AND a curse; Nicole needs to get paid!), but no plans. Maybe, if I see Beth today, we can plan something to do tomorrow that's friend and girly-like. But neither of us have people to just hang out with yet. Working on it. But it's taking so long! ::pout::

I should go take a shower. Get ready to go to BUF--which I am now a member of. Congrats to me.
One thing to look forward to: Beth and Anne (another awesome chica from BUF) are getting ready to start some kind of regular Art Night. Plans are still in the works. I'm excited for it! Art is fun, and I'd like the chance to get to know Anne better.
