Going to the
church this morning was a great experience. It's a different kind of church than what is thought of traditionally: the purpose is to question, not follow a specific dogma, as well as to provide a community. The people were very nice, very inclusive; I talked to multiple people. Sadly, most of the congregation was at least ten years older than me, but I did see some people my age and there is a young adults group. One of the coolest people there was a lady named Sunshine. Unfortuneatly, she had just moved and was only in town visiting; but it was an encouragement that yes, I can find cool people to hang out with here.
Other than that...doing laundry. Bought a ton of groceries yesterday that just barely squeeze into the kitchen...I have my Bisquick in the fridge for lack of a better place to stash the huge Costco-sized box...blargh. But hey, there's a Trader Joe's here in town: organic foods/produce for cheap! Just don't try to buy any housewares items, because you won't really find any, as I discovered to my dismay.

My mom called today and told me she and my aunt are coming to Bellingham for Thanksgiving--whether I'm here or not ^__^ I see no reason why I shouldn't be home. I know Justin's trying to work something out about seeing his mom too, but not both of us will be able to travel; so even if he goes, I'll be staying here. So it goes.
Puget Sound Energy finally sent us a bill for our utilities deposit. Now that chunk of money is paid as well. Woot...?
And in my on-going campaign against Sarah Palin:
