Great weekend!

It was really hard to go to work today after having a really nice weekend. I was planning to go to a wedding, but I really couldn't afford the road trip to Nebraska. (Sorry Tina. We need to hang out next time you're in town.) So, I had the whole weekend with no real plans. Bridget and I hung out on Friday and though our plans didn't work out at all like we hoped, we still enjoyed the time we did have together. Saturday, I had a great time with our extended household. We had a wonderful talk about comfort levels and such. Our apartment is now even more comfortable than it was, because we know we aren't going to make anyone else uncomfortable and trust that they'll tell us if we do. That night, Maggie and I had an adventure breaking into her car after she locked the keys (and the spare) inside at the bar. We love random guy who helped us and the lovely Keirans staff who lent us a broom. Then, we stayed up the rest of the night, playing on the playground at my apartment. We wanted to make breakfast for everyone, but we ended up crashing about 8 am. Sunday was a crazy busy day, but we managed to fit in everything we planed to do. Gina had a barbeque, then we all went to the Dub, then a party at Chad's. We figured out that Chad and Mike used to work together, so Rea and Mike went to the party and met us there. It was awesome being able to hang out with them somewhere besides home! The bar was lots of fun too. I didn't have to drive, so I got kinda drunk. There were lots of very serious, mature conversations that I wasn't expecting. Especially from the people they were from.
So, good weekend! :) It wasn't any fun going into work hungover today, but at least I was in a good mood.
