Drabbles
Currently working on Veilfic. Meanwhile, here are a couple of drabbles from hp100:
Title: Betrayal

"The Potters have made me their Secret Keeper. They expect me for dinner on Halloween."
"I too shall attend."
"...Of course, Lord."
A week later, Voldemort arrived in Godric's Hollow, eager to eliminate the blood traitor Potter, his Mudblood wife and their half-breed spawn.
Turning the knob of the Potters' door, he strode in.
He was immediately hit by three Charms, shouted by--Merlin's beard!--Potter, Black and Lupin:
"Silencio!"
"Expelliarmus!"
"Petrificus Totalus!"
Voldemort fell to the cottage floor, mute, disarmed and paralysed.
Pettigrew walked to Voldemort, placing his wand against the Dark Lord's temple.
"Avada Kedavra," he said contemptuously.

Author's Note
When Dumbledore explained why a Secret Keeper had to be a loyal friend, James was sickened.
"There must be some other way," he protested.
Dumbledore shook his head. "Only the oldest magic will safeguard you so that Voldemort will be destroyed in the future. Choose wisely."

"Not Sirius," said Lily. "And Sirius would never forgive us if we used Remus."
"That only leaves--"
"Yes."

"You can count on me," Peter told James, after the Fidelius Charm was completed. "I'll keep your secret forever."
"I know," whispered James, removing a dagger from his robes and slitting Peter's throat.
