• What are you currently reading?
An assortment of books about the Silk Road, The Handless Maiden by Mary Elizabeth Perry, and A Circle of Quiet by Madeleine L'Engle.
• What did you recently finish reading?
Dorothy Gilman's Kaleidoscope, a sequel to The Clairvoyant Countess. It's a cozy mystery series (only two books, alas, due to Gilman's recent death) featuring a woman called Madame Karitska who solves mysteries through a combination of psychometry and common sense.
• What do you think you’ll read next?
Either L'Engle's The Summer of the Great-Grandmother or Jim Butcher's novella Backup. I'm also trying to figure out which Yuletide book fandoms I want to become more familiar with. There seem to be a lot of choices!
