Oy Vey.
I just got a call from a credit card about a recent payment to Livejournal. Apparently the company thought that LJ was a scam and that the card had been stolen because LJ is owned by a Russian company.
LJ has many problems...but this is the first time I can recall that a credit card company thought that it might not exist.
What makes this thoroughly ridiculous is that when I got the call from the credit card company, I assumed that the caller was a scammer and that I was notifying the company of an attempted con game.
