Pump-ness!
YAY! I have a lymphatic pump again!
Part of the reason that I've been ill of late is that my pump has been breaking sporadically for much of the summer--working for a while and then poorly inflating the plastic "boots" into which I insert my swollen legs (they're actually called "sleeves," but you know what? If they look like bright blue Barbie boots, they should be bloody well be CALLED boots) or not inflating at all. The pump has been at the shop for the past week. I wasn't expecting it today. Wednesday, most likely. Monday at BEST.
So now it is back, and I can get back to proper sleep and the swelling in my legs going down. Hooray!
More news to follow, but I wanted to tell you all this.
