Who Ya Gonna Call?

No, I don't have ghosts. I have a frog. Or a toad. I'm not sure which. It hops, is black or dark brown (my eyes don't make much distinction), and has a red blotch on its back. The silly thing hopped into my garage this morning when I was taking out the garbage. At last count, it was hiding there.

I have a deep-seated dislike of animals where they don't belong. Frogs and toads do not belong anywhere near my living space.

Problem--I don't know how to get it out. It's appreciably faster than I am. It's small enough to squeeze into ridiculously tiny areas that I could simply overlook. And I don't think I could stand to pick it up even if I cornered it.

On the other hand, I don't want to shut the garage door and have it starve to death. I don't open that door every day, and there's no food out there. (This has nothing to do with compassion for wildlife and everything to do with not wanting to step on a dead frog or toad in a few days.)

Anyone have ideas on how to get rid of this very dumb amphibian?
