Open Letter to NOM
This is the letter that a friend of mine wrote:
An Open Letter to the National Organization for Marriage
Go thou and read it. It is fantastic, and it points out the illogic of their position flawlessly. Because seriously, saying that people's marriages are preventing freedom of speech is just not on. It's a lie, and a stupid lie.
(Though I have to admit that my initial reaction was: "These idiots are claiming that gay marriage forces them to shut up? Ladies and gentlemen, start the weddings!")
And then--in contrast to the National Organization of Bigotry--check this out as well:

It made me tear up. A bank actually gets it--people are people.
