I'm doing my recording session tomorrow. Its the absolute last possible day that I can assemble my NYU portfolio. I don't cut things close, no.
The best case scenario is that NYU says, "Your portfolio is great, your a perfect match. We want you. That'll be $48,000" My parents know better than anyone that we can't afford it. They should be the ones telling me that. That means the only reason they could have for being so hardass about me finishing this portfolio is to teach me some kind of lesson in finishing projects.
That said, I am really excited about doing a recording session at a real studio. I've been talking to the engineer for my session, Mark Santangelo (possibly the best name ever), and he seems like a cool dude. By the end of tomorrow, I'm going to have a professionaly recorded CD. It'll only have one track on it, but still, thats exciting.
