And we WON !!
Yay, I love my team again. I even love Ganguly again =)
India finally managed to win a match in South Africa,
And to celebrate:
Also, found this bit really nice in an
article by Dileep Premchandran:
"U2's Beautiful Day was wafting out through the stadium loudspeakers when Sreesanth stepped up to bowl his first over of the morning. "You're on the road, But you've got no destination ... Teach me, I know I'm not a hopeless case" go the lyrics, and nothing could have been more appropriate for a team that dug deep to unearth hope and inspiration from the wreckage of potentially soul-destroying defeats"
I have never come across song comparisons to cricket in an article, and I thought it was really cute ( plus I love the song) !
Okay, back to Environmental Education essay now sigh
EDIT: That can wait, I almost forgot about the Deep Purple show!
So being the loving daughter that I am, I decided to buy
achitnis a ticket to the Deep Purple show as an early Christmas present. ( thanks
say_yes04 for all the help!) I had decided not to get a ticket for my self because it wasn't really worth it considering I know like three songs of theirs.
But I must have been a really good girl at some point, because on Sunday afternoon ,
derherr asks if I want to go since there was a pass free ! Cool! So
achitnis,
derherr,
say_yes04,
kalyan,
noelladsa and me went.
Although I knew only three songs, the show was still fun. The lights were nice, although I found the "fillers" done by each member a bit annoying. Though the bit were Steve Morse played his medley which included some of G' N' R's "Sweet Child O Mine" was nice, as well as Avery's John Williams act with the "Star Wars" theme.
Went for some chinese/something else food at ASEAN after that. All in all was fun!
