Another Vampire Rant I Want To Keep...
I, on the other hand, don't understand why there aren't more clans and bloodlines in the Camarilla.
Lasombra and Tzimice: Both of these clans strike me as the type to join the Camarilla. Not in their modern incarnations, of course. I think there should be as many of the antitribu of these clans in the Camarilla as there are Camarilla antitribu in the Sabbat. Keep in mind that they were once clans of lords and controllers. The best reason that more Lasombra and Tzimice aren't in the Camarilla is probably that the anarchs of both these clans wipes the more civilised ones out, but I still think more of them would have gone to the Camarilla for protection. Then there's the whole Tremere thing...
Followers of Set: I think these guys would fit right in at the Camarilla club. Yes, they have a dark motive, but this is not well known. Plus, what better way to corrupt than from the inside.
Assamites: These guys have a good excuse. I think their bosses would probably kick their asses if they joined. I don't think the Camarilla would have them either due to the "hey, guys... lets go eat all other cainites" thing they've got going on. Then there's the whole Tremere thing...
Harbringers of Skulls: I think the Harbringers of Skulls would have gone straight to the Camarilla rather than the Sabbat. True, the Sabbat have the "destroy the antediluvians" party line that they would probably be into due to what Cappadocious did to them. But on the other hand I thing the Sabbats tendency to eat their own would make them twitchy after what happened in Kaymakli. Though in the end, I think The Harbringers are more interested in studying death than the jyhad and the Camarilla would give them more peace to do so.
Kyasid: The only reason I can see for this bloodline has for joining the Sabbat is their connection with the Lasombra. All the Kyasid want to do is study. The Camarilla is the better place to do this than the Sabbat in my opinion. Plus, if they are nice to the Tremere, they might get some magic tomes on loan.
Salubri antitribu: Ok. The Salubri have a good excuse, the whole Tremere thing... But apart from that the Camarilla is all good. But my Knowledge of the Salubri is even more limited than other clans...
Giovanni: Again, the Giovanni would fit in, in my opinion. The Camarilla would get a valuable ally and the Giovanni would be free to try to take down the shroud with the Camarilla backing them (Though I doubt the Camarilla would know about it) The Biggest reason that the Giovanni do not join that i see is their collective ego.
Nagaraja: When the True Black Hand was destroyed the Nagaraja went to the Kuei-Jin for protection. I was under the impression that the Kuei-Jin destroyed Cainites on sight. I think the Nagaraja Would have benefited more by going to the Camarilla for shelter.
Old Clan Tzimizce and True Brujah: I don't know much about these clans. But from what I do know, The Old Clan Tzimizce seem the Camarilla type. Of course the True Brujah have the whole Brujah thing... But otherwise would be ok in the Camarilla.
That's all the Clans and Bloodlines I can think of right now. Maybe I've missed something but the Camarilla always made sense to me from a vampire point of view.
