OMG! no time!!

The plan of attack:

Week
1 - Panel assembly
2 - Draw skirt embroidery pattern and begin embroidery
3 - Comic Con
4 - Finish skirt embroidery and draw bodice embroidery
5 - Vegas
6 - Bodice embroidery and draw sleeve embroidery
7 - Sleeve embroidery and begin construction
8 - Skirt construction
9 - Bodice construction
10 - Cape, Headband and rhinestones
11 - Cushion weekend

I didn't get as much of the embroidery done as I had wanted, but I got about 1/4 into it. All the pieces are cut out and the pattern is marked on the fabric, so I think I am still good to go.

Unfortunately the dancing isn't going nearly as good as the dress. I had a girl show me the rest of the last dance I have to learn. Holy difficult Batman! I wrote it down, so hopefully I can decipher my notes and be able to at least get the idea of it. The goal is to be able to do the step to music by the end of this month and then get the set (the new bit I 'learned') to music by the end of next month. That would give me almost a month to polish it up a bit.

This will of course require *a lot* more outside practice than I am used to. The plan right now is to use the empty rooms at my gym when I go during the day. The problem is that I don't want my cross training time to suffer because it really is helping with the stamina. I'll probably practice dance on Mondays and Fridays (with class on Wednesdays) and then cross train on Tuesdays and I'll have to get my butt into the gym on the weekend *sigh* That's going to be the difficult part.

I am *almost* done with a new drawing. I had hoped to get it done before Comic Con. There is still a slight chance as long as I can work on it tonight and a bit tomorrow morning. It all depends on how long it takes me to pack and if anything unexpected pops up *sigh*

So I bought another new pair of jeans. I didn't realize when i tried them on in at the store how incredibly long they were! I hemmed them last night because they were ridiculously long. I had thought maybe I picked up a 'tall' by mistake, but the tag doesn't say 'tall'. I had to hem them 4 inches! WTF?! Why are jeans being made so freaking long now? I like wearing my pants long, but 4 inches! Even in heels they'd drag on the ground. And I am not *that* short. Anyway, now the pants look fabulous and are the perfect length. Yay!

So tomorrow I am off to Comic Con! Yay! I can't wait to meet new peeps and see already met peeps again. Hopefully I'll be able to sleep better tonight since I haven't the past 2 nights *sigh* I know I won't be getting any sleep at Comic Con.
