ZOMG fire!
So this is the conversation that took place on our walk to breakfast.
Me: Hey, look at the smoke over there. And the helicopters. It looks like it could be at or near Universal.
Boy: Nah, I think it's too far to be at Universal.
Me: Hrmmm... maybe, but why would all those news helicopters be interested in some random building burning.
Boy: *shrugs*
So we when we got to Vivians (bestest Banana pancakes ever!), while we were waiting for a table, we decided to check the internets (hooray for cell phones with internets).
Sure enough, the top news story on yahoo "Universal Studios on Fire!"
It's contained (but not out yet) and there have only been minor injuries to a couple fire fighters. Lots of stuff was destroyed though, including the King Kong attraction :(
Anyway, the smoke isn't too terrible at my place, it seems to be mostly blowing away from us.
