How to post to Sick!Wilson using a fake lj-cut
In this case, it really doesn't matter if you use the RTF or HTML tab. You'll only be copy and pasting the header and creating a link to your LJ, so you should be okay either way.
- Go to sick_wilson, and click Post to this community.
- Type the name of your fic in the Subject field. If you're posting a multi-part story, be sure to include that information after your title, e.g., (1/#) or (1/?).
- Copy and paste your header to the text entry box.
- Press Enter three or four times to create some "dead" space so your link will be easier to distinguish from your header.
Type the name of the link as you want it to appear. You might want to put parentheses around your text so it looks like a real lj-cut, but that's up to you.
- Highlight the text that you're going to convert into a link. If you want, you can click the Bold icon in the toolbar to make your fake lj-cut look even more like the real thing.
- Click the icon that looks a globe with a chain link in front of it like this
, and a pop-up box should appear in the middle of your screen.
- Copy and paste the link to your fic in the URL box and click OK.
- You've just created a fake lj-cut. :)
- Enter your tags. If you need help, please refer to the tags thread.
- Click Post to sick_wilson.
