(no subject)
So Matt went out on a really dangerous mission today- a really dangerous mission. The last man from his original battalion was also KIA'd when they were ambushed. He's the only remaining member of his original 121st Battalion still in service.
They should be returning in the morning (Afghan time aka 11 PMish our time) but... They said it was really one of those "Either they all die first or we do." sort of missions. Who knows how long they could be out.
Drew also said Matt's starting to get really depressed. Losing his boy like that today doesn't help things.
I'm.. I'm just worried sick about him right now.
I thought I would have more to say but I really don't... Just too busy being worried, I guess.
I wonder who the patron saint of soldiers on missions is? (There's bound to be one or at least something like it)
