Work...you still blow...but at least I'm getting paid
So we started the paperwork thing this weekend.
Friday wasn't so bad because I was a midshift so I did it for the person coming in at 4 and I got out on time. Saturday, there was also a midshifter, so I got out on time. But Sunday...no midshifter...I didn't leave work until 5...so yeah, a full hour of overtime there. I have a feeling that this is how it's going to be until they figure this issue out. First they bitch that we get too much overtime and now they've made it to where there's basically no way to avoid the overtime.
The worst part about it, if the cigarettes continue to come up short, even if it is a paperwork issue, there going to start firing people becuase the higher ups seem to refuse to believe it's their fault. They'll probably start with the cashiers first. This is ridiculous to be honest. No one is stealing the cigarettes because for the loss they're showing, HUNDREDS of cartons would have to be missing and that's kinda impossible when almost all of the cartons get locked up daily and we're being recorded at all times so it would be fairly obvious if you were walking out with that many cartons a month.
I'm just going to let whatever happens happen because this place is so poorly run. I really do wish I could find something that paid more or be like my brother and be awesome on the phone since he's officially making more money than me at that call center place. But until then, I'm just going to grin and take it because I have no other options and bills have to be paid.
Man I'm glad my shows are coming back...I'm desperate for a distraction now.
