… or luring people into rereading fic:-)

So I’ll start things for a fic quote meme with a random selection of favorite Dark Angel stories from a long mental list, hoping it won’t be too hard to guess.

Choosing was more difficult than I thought (somehow the things stuck in my head seem to be moods and scenes and atmospheres but much less the ( Read more... )

Hey! No points for these partial guesses like "sounds like" or "one of so & so's stories... is there?

Either way, got one for sure: #4 is Lisa's "Possessions."

ah yes, "Possessions". It was always 'the story with the shavers' to me. =)

And #9 is Toblerone's latest snippet about Max's name.

Why not, pointing others into the right direction?

Of course you're right with Possessions, Kendra's unique view on EO gets stuck in a brain.

Uh-oh: maybe I was cheating? (or over-analysing the game...?)

Is it okay, if you know the precise story, to go find the title? No way could I remember more than a few titles on my own, but wanted to use the title so people might run back & read...

(being the uber-geek today...)

There must be something wrong with me, throwing out a meme without defining the rules. They’ll take away my geek points for that.

But I agree (maybe because of my horrible memory for titles and names of fictional characters), no harm in looking up the title, after all one has to know author and story to do so.

(So interesting how über is used in English, wonder how it's pronounced:-)

Probably pronounced as you would expect a shamelessly stolen word (without the appropriate umlaut (is that spelling even close?) to sound -- done with a really awful-sounding American accent!

Perfect as expected (thanks for explaining). And as for shamelessly stolen words, your ears would either go into painful cramp in Germany or not recognize the words as English at all…

Is there a punishment for going so completely off-topic on one’s own LJ?
