I've also been living with Velvet Revolver's album for the last 4 days and I totally dig it. Best rock album to be released in years. If you only buy two albums this year, make sure it's Interpol's 'Turn on the Bright Lights' and Velvet Revolver's 'Contraband'. Highlights at the moment are "Sucker Train Blues" and "Big Machine". Slash sounds very much like Slash but throws in a few new things that remind me why he's a genius, and not a boring guitar-god-crap-hole-guy... thingy.
Plus, Axl should ask for his drugs back, 'cuz whoever decided to make Slither their first single release has smoked most of them. ;)
