My sunshine has gone.
Once more, I am in darkness.

I went to the Jewish Food Festival today.
Jewish food is kind of like a rip off of Middle-Eastern food, Greek food, and everyday food, just made Kosher. Eh. Still yummygood! :)
Saw a couple of friends I hadn't seen in a while. That was good. :)

Haibane Renmei is a hella cool series! I can't wait to see the rest of it.

I went to the Classics Day at UCDavis. That was nice.
It was essentially the same thing they do every year with a few knew things.
The skits were almost exactly the same as they always are. They play on the same jokes year after year after year after year, and they (the member of the Classics Association) think that they don't get old. However, they did have a new one about a Classics department meeting. That was hilarious!
The only new things they did at Classics Day were a mock lecture, looking at ancient Rome's questionable morals, and we got to "stone" the Classics Association President with water balloons. That was particularly satisfying, since I know the guy. He so deserved it! :)
I didn't go to the Classics Picnic. It's held at one of the professor's house. I know the professor, and she likes me, but I thought that it would be inappropriate for me to go, even though I was invited, because I am not a Classics student or alumni. Only those who are, or have, studied Classics are invited to go. I was invited, I think, out of social courtesy. It would be nice to go, though. I have always wanted to see this professor's house! She has it decorated in Ancient Rome style. That has to be so cool because it's apparently very accurate!

I created a piece of artwork! I finished it! I have been working on it for some time. My brother has been taking art, so he lended me his paints and a canvas to work on.
I suppose I am officially an artist!
I find that term very limiting. It seems to only include those artists who create sculptures, paintings, sketches, and other things like that.
I would argue that artistry can be found in writings and music. In which case, I have been an artist for some time...
Either way, I like the painting I did. Perhaps I shall pursue this further...
