I love television. I can fully appreciate the problems with all my favorite shows, but if they can still deliver a moment that makes me go *eeeeee*! once an episode, I'm still going to be happy. Also, I found free art on the street today (oil on wood--they're these huge 4'x4' panels, painted in 1989 by a Taka Kawachi... Google came up with hits for the author of books about Basquiat, Anna Sui, and graffiti artists, if it's the same guy), how cool is that?
Other things making me happy include Finder (a series of graphic novels by Carla Speed McNeil), the 10th Street Baths, MarieBelle Aztec hot chocolate, Master and Commander on DVD, an upcoming visit from hesychasm, the weather, and you guys.... Oh, and that this is a GIP, because sushi is very important to my happiness and I thought I could use a sushi icon to express this fact.
Finally, I'm doing Alias recs on crack_van this month--and I really need to get on that and add more recs NOW because how did it get to be the last week of the month already?--and I suppose it doesn't really matter, but I was linking to one of her stories and wondering if anyone knew if Kat Hughes aka Bishclone has an lj? Thanks!
