1. How old were you when you first started riding? I started professional lessons at age 9 but rode casually on and off before that.
2. First horse ridden: The first horse I took lessons on was this retired saddlebred show horse named Rock n Roll Girl out at Hollow Haven. Her barn name was "Rocky"
3. First horse trotted on: Rocky
4. First horse cantered on: I believe it was another retired ASB show horse named Huey. I don't remember his show name, though.
5. First Horse fallen off of: Rocky! I was learning to post, I lost a stirrup..and off I went!
6. Most recent horse fallen off of: Steel, at Mid Summerfest. oops!
7. First horse you trotted over poles with: Maybe Solo up at school- but the first time I really used them for training was Steely.
8. First horse jumped with: Solo
9. First horse who ran away with you: That would be Solo. that bastard!
10. First horse that scared the crap out of you: I was terrified to ride Solo for about 2 years...and then I did the only logical thing there was to do...I bought him!
11. First horse shown? Sultan's Treasure Chest (Chester...I love him.)

13. Do you/have you taken lessons: Not recently, but I have in the past. Been with Hollow Haven, Bob Jensen Stables, Hardwood Creek (rode there for a long time!) took some dressage lessons for a while, and will soon be starting up at Lear Stables.
14. First horse you ever rode bareback: The Solo.
15. First horse trail ridden with: I don't know, some lazy trail horse out at Diamond T or something.

17. Do you ride English or western? I ride Hunt Seat and Saddle Seat.

19. Ever been to horse camp? naw..not my thing.
20. Ever been to a riding clinic? yep.
21. Ridden sidesaddle? no, but I would love to. I bet Steel would be good at it.
22. First horse leased: Never leased...that doesn't happen very often in saddlebreds.
23. First horse owned: Solo.
24. Highest ribbon in a show? First place.
25. Ever been to an 'A' rated show? not yet- next summer I think Steel and I may do Fash (which I think is rated A for saddlebreds now!) and Tanbark.
26. Ever competed in pony games/relay races? we did some up at school.
27. Ever fallen off at a show: hahah yea. I fell off in my first show with Steely. ah well, it happens.
28. Do you ride Hunter/Jumpers? hunter on the flat.
29. Have you ever barrel raced? Yea, Solo kicked ass at it ;)
30. Ever done pole bending? nope. I dont think I even know what it is.

32. Ever galloped bareback? My last ride on Solo up at school was galloping bareback through the snow
33. Have you ever done dressage? I took a few dressage lessons, but I wouldn't say I've "done dressage"
34. Have you ever evented? No, but it's a long term goal for Steely and I./
35. Have you ever mucked a stall? uuuh..yea.
36. Ever been bucked off? hmm...not bucked. but ive had some hroses try pretty damn hard to get me off their backs.
37. Ever been on a horse that reared? yea, its pretty scary.
38. Horses or ponies? Horses.

40. What's the highest you've jumped: not very high.
41. Have you ever ridden at night? mmhmm
42. Do you watch horsey television shows? yep, whenever I happen to catch them.
43. Have you ever been seriously hurt/injured from a fall? herniated 3 disks in my lower back when i fell off of Solo.
44. Have you ever ridden without anything (no saddle, no bridle etc...)? always have at least a halter and lead rope.
45. Do you ride in an arena or ring? indoor arena and occasionally the outdoor serpentine.
46. Have you ever been trampled by a horse? nope.
47. Have you ever been bitten? yea, had to go to the ER and everything. ouch.
48. Ever had your foot stepped on by a horse? yea thats a weekly occurence.
49. Do you clean your tack regularly? Yes. I am slightly anal about it.
50. Ever played ride-a-buck? yea, i am awesome. saddlebreds give you legs of steel!

59. Show experience: This past summer was his very first show season so we offically have 2 shows under our belt as of now.

61. Did you train this horse yourself? He was broke by someone else, everything else done by me.
62. Vices? hmm...he paws in the crossties but other than that not really.
63. Spooky? a little bit, but never does anything too drastic/
64. Is your horse able to be ridden bareback: Yea, he's got the smoothest gaits.
65. Does your horse come when you call? nope.
66. Is your horse good with children and other horses: children, yes, other horses...depends.
67. Is your horse worked regularly: yep...5 days a week! sometimes 6.
68. Ever a lesson horse? no,. but he'd be awesome at it in the future.
69. Does your horse like treats? yea he's kind of a piggy.

71. Is your horse easy to work around? I think he's easy to ride- but he's a handful for clipping, shots, and loading. But he hasnt had much experience with any of that.
72. Has your horse ever escaped from it's stall? heheh yes. it was kind of funny.
73. Do you feel safe on your horse? yep.
74. Is your horse hard to deworm? Naw, he usually doesnt even see whats coming.
75. Is your horse good for the farrier/vet? farriar yes, vet, not so much.
76. Have you ever won a class with your horse? Not yet. But I have a feeling there will be lots of blue sin our future
77. Have you ever had a moment where you feel really connected to your
horse? not like I did with Solo.
78. Does your horse like hay? he likes anything he can put in his mouth.
79. Does your horse have special feed or supplement? He gets grain, oats, corn, and beet pulp to keep him chubby.
80. Does your horse often have a very messy stall? he's been really good lately. so my stall cleaners tell me :)
81. Does your horse use any special tack?have him in a running martingale right now. but thats it.
82. Do you use a whip and spurs? I use a crop occasionally. more so lately just because he needs it in the show ring and I need to get used to holding it.
83. Does your horse like to run? yes, yes he does.
84. How many times a week do you ride your horse? 3-4 and 1-2 days of ground work.
85. Does your horse have markings? both of his left feet have white socks and a little snip on the end of his nose.
86. Do you braid your horse for shows? Yes. though sometimes I have help if someone is available.
87. What color is your horse's halter? blue.
88. Does your horse follow you? Yea, its cute.
89. Can your horse backup? its a work in progress. he's at about 90% right now.
90. Is your horse's trot easier to sit to or post to? hmm...he has a nice trot for doing both.

96. Do you normally lunge your horse before riding? No, i like him to have some spunk.
97. Has your horse ever given a pony ride? Yes
98. How many people owned this horse before you? Well, the people that bred him and then my trainers.
99. Does your horse get dirty easily? he's self cleaning, i swear.
100. What's your favorite horsey memory?Too many with Solo to count...but my favorite with Steel (so far!) is our show a couple weeks ago :)
