Welcome to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends.
Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be a SCROOGE!!! Just copy this into your LiveJournal. Change all the answers so that they apply to you.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Gift Bags, I love the tissue paper.
2. Real tree or artificial? Real, for the first time in several years.
3. When do you put up the tree? Right after Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take the tree down? Probably after New Years. I need to find a big ass bag for it :)
5. Do you like eggnog? Yes, when Brian makes it.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My Voltron. He was the lion one. Totally cast metal and not child safe. I loved that thing to bits. The only thing I think I loved more was the kitten (Holly) I got for my 10th Christmas. my father admits to playing with Voltron the Christmas Eve before I got him to "make sure it worked"
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope.
8. Hardest person to buy for? Bri, just because he asks for so little, and we both are the kind where if we need it, we went out and got it.
9. Easiest person to buy for? Or make for, as the case may be. Grandma, who demands knit slippers, every year.
10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I love my mom, but the cheap generic mixer/chopper/blender that I killed in about 2 weeks woulda been it. I asked for a kitchen aid for a reason. I kill mixers.
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Patrick Stewart does A Christmas Carol (yum)
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? When I get my bonus..for those paying attention, this past Thursday.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No, but I have recycled the wrapping paper :)
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? macaroni and cheese! (it's a family thing) and cookies. And those damn Girardelli candy cane squares. Curse them.
16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Clear!
17. Favorite Christmas song? Noel, because I got to sing the high soprano part forever, and it made me feel like I was really part of the holiday.
18. Stay home or travel for Christmas? Half and Half. Western MA for Christmas Eve, Home for the day.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen. And that red nosed bastard.
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? A little christmas fairy chick. Though for years it was a star I found that looks suspiciously like the bit from Tron. (yes! no! yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!!)
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Christmas Eve is for family presents, and Christmas Day is for Immediately family/living with presents. So say we all.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? traffic near malls, especially the on ramp to 3, because I need to go that way. Bastards. Oh, and too many Christmas carols on the radio. Even for me.
