The film No Woman, No Cry which was directed by Christy Turlington Burns. The film shines light on the fact t hat due to substandard maternal healthcare worldwide, "more than 500,000 women die each year during childbirth-and that 90 percent of these deaths are preventable." (EMC)
The film airs tomorrow night (5-7-2011) on the Oprah Winfrey Network at 9:30 EST, and there are several ways to get involved beyond just tuning in. One way is to join or host a Watch Party .
