So.. where to begin.. for starters, Pat and I have finally purchased a house. We now live in Shoreview. We've been in the house about a month now, and I have a laundry list of things that I want to fix/change/upgrade.. As can well be imagined.. We've already started stripping down wallpaper.. I've been told that I need to stick to one room at a time.. The wallpaper frenzy started in the amusement room, and as I slipped around the corner to the stairs and started pulling down wallpaper in the entryway, I was cut off. It makes sense I guess.. I just want to purge all the "old-lady" wallpaper and paint my own colors.. Luckily we have a professional painter living within half a mile. (He plays pretty good bass guitar too.. ;) ) It's been a roller coaster few months.. What with Neil's baby being born 2 months early, and with us moving to the other side of the city. The Tims are no longer playing the rec.. It seems that everything is changing. It will be nice once everything settles down. For those of you that wonder, Neil's baby boy Liam is almost 7 pounds, he's quite healthy and absolutely adorable. Pat is now working at the help desk at Merrill where I work as site support. I'm not sure how many people could work in such close proximity, but we manage to pull it off.. Many people have laughed at us while on break when I'm playing PSP and Pat is playing gameboy.. I guess it does seem silly to take a break together and then not really talk.. Anyway.. Just in case anyone is curious, we have no baby in our future yet. I know people are always wanting to know.. Who knows, it may happen in the near future.. One of these days, we'll have a housewarming party..
