I promised a friend of my mom's...

Ok.. so a while back, I told this friend of my mom's that I would help him get the word out about his conference. I knew I had some friends who might be interested in the topics being offered, and thought it sounded interesting. I then found out it was $275 to attend the whole conference, and realized that a lot of my friends (like me) do not have that kind of money to spend on such a conference. Time passed, and now with the date of the conference looming, the speakers are booked, and coming into town, the venue is reserved, there's no turning back and attendance is not what was hoped. So my dear friends, here is why I post:

http://www.lotusworkshop.com/Welcome.html

Anyone (ANYONE) who is a friend of mine (if you can read this, you qualify) who lets me know they have a serious interest (this is serious, not some sort of porno thing!!) in any of the lectures or workshops listed on the page needs to let me know. I will arrange to get you to your chosen lecture/workshop FREE. That's right, this stuff is important, and there are people who want to learn it, this is the very first year of this conference, and it's important to get some interest worked up (plus my mom helped plan/contribute to it!!).

I just want to state for the record that this is an adult only conference, and that if you are thinking it might be fun to come and cause trouble, I'd really prefer you not come. I'm not necessarily in to everything they're talking about, but the guy putting this all together has spent some serious money trying to work it out, and I'm sure I know a few people who might be interested. Having said that, please understand that the views expressed are not my own, I have no affiliation with this conference, I'm not trying to sell anything (they might be, Smitten Kitten has a booth, and some others I think!!) I get no benefit from this other than helping out some of my friends. So... anyone who doesn't have something going on this weekend, let me know (I know we're all super busy, but hey.. it's free...
