But in the meantime, Teal'c was short a sparring partner, and as little as Daniel enjoyed the art of staff fighting, he knew he could use the practice. As usual, Daniel was wearing as much protective gear as he could manage, whereas Teal'c wasn't wearing anything besides his regular clothes.
"How are you feeling, Daniel Jackson?" Teal'c asked as he struck at Daniel's side, trying to catch him off-guard.
Daniel barely blocked the attack. "Okay, all things considered. I'm a little worried, to be honest."
Teal'c cocked his head while simultaneously putting Daniel through a series of blocks and parries. "Which part of the current situation has you worried?"
"Oh, you know," he grunted through the exertion. "What if it's permanent? I don't want to be flipping through realities for the rest of my life, even if I AM seeing friends. What if I poof out of here and end up somewhere dangerous? What if someone dangerous comes HERE?" He shook his head. "I just hope Sam gets this fixed."
Teal'c gave a single nod of his head, just before he lunged forward with a fresh attack. Daniel was just about to block the move, when a now-familiar surge of tingling swept through his body. "Oh no-" Before he could shout a warning, Teal'c had knocked him off his feet. He landed hard on his back just as the familiar bright flash filled the air.

Okay, that was bad.
Bobby didn't shout out to Daniel, instead he focused on staying quiet hoping the big guy wouldn't notice. Bobby caught sight of the rack of weapons and quickly picked up one of the staffs similar to Teal'c's. Normally, Bobby was a little better about thinking before acting, but when he saw a friend in trouble (or what he thought was trouble), sometimes that went out the window.
He swung at Teal'c but unfortunately Teal'c had caught on to his presence and blocked the staff. Meanwhile, Bobby was having some flashbacks to certain encounters on Zadaa with large dark skinned warriors...none of which were very pleasant. Bobby struck again with the staff, but Teal'c had years of experience on Bobby and managed to get Bobby on his back. Teal'c came down with the staff and Bobby brought his up to block it. Oh, this was not going good, not good at all.

Could this day get any crazier?!
"Whoa, whoa, hold it!" he yelled as loudly as he could, shoving himself to his feet.
Teal'c was doing his best to keep the teenager pinned, hardly breaking a sweat as he responded tightly, "This stranger attacked me, Daniel Jackson!"
Yeah, that was certainly a good question that needed to be answered. Still, this was Bobby. Daniel stepped to Teal'c's side and put a hand on the staff. "It's okay, he's a friend of mine. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. Calm down, okay?"
Teal'c gave Daniel a hard look, and then seemed willing to accept this. Stepping back, he let Bobby rise to his feet. Daniel offered him a hand. "Well, that was impressive. Are you okay?"

"You were attacking HIM," Bobby protested when the other guy spoke up. It was after he said that, that things started to fall into place. He was on a mat for one and out of the corner of his eye he could see that Daniel was covered in padding. Oh...oooohhh. Well now Bobby just felt stupid. Daniel had just been sparring with this guy.
Which raised several questions:
1) Who was this other guy?
2) Why were they sparring?
3) How had Bobby gotten here to SEE them sparring?
The last one was probably the most important. Bobby blinked when Teal'c stepped away and then rose to his feet with the help from Daniel. "Ah, yeah I think so. Do you mind telling me what's going on?" Bobby looked over at the other man in the room who was kind of making Bobby uncomfortable. Man, his stares could rival Loor's. "Sorry about attacking you...I didn't realize what was going on and thought you were attacking him," he gestured at Daniel.
Hopefully that would explain everything. He turned back to Daniel and registered something else. "Hey...why are you glowing?"

Daniel was relieved to have that taken care of. Now he just had to get Bobby up to speed on what was going on. "Well, it's a long story..." he said sheepishly, running a hand through his hair for the 15th time in two days. His last comment, however, made him stop. "Oh, dangit, I'd almost forgotten," he said with mild aggravation. "That's part of the long story. Is it really that obvious?" Apparantly it was, since almost everyone commented on it. He was going to be really glad when Sam got this fixed.
Before he could actually start explaining, Sam walked in. She startled at the sight of Bobby. "Um...hello." She glanced between Bobby, Teal'c, and Daniel. "Another visitor, I take it?"
Daniel nodded. "Yup. Apparantly I'm alternating now. Sam, Teal'c, this is Bobby Pendragon; he's a good friend of mine from that alternate Manhattan. Bobby, this is Teal'c and Colonel Samantha Carter, my coworkers."

Bobby grinned slightly, "It's always a long story." He could recall some of the things Daniel had told him before and could only imagine that this had something to do with the alien technology Daniel mentioned. "Well, it's been awhile since I've seen you...so yeah the glowing kind of sticks out," Bobby remarked, feeling sorry for Daniel.
He looked over at the doorway when a woman walked in and since he was starting to feel less awkward waved hello. Of course, she said "another" and that made Bobby perk up a little. "Hello. So, I'm guessing I'm not the first to drop in on you guys, huh?" Aside from getting a look at Sam and Teal'c, Bobby was also starting to look around at where he was more closely. It was just a room with gym equipment, so really they could be anywhere...both Bobby had a sneaking suspicion they were in the secret base Daniel might have mentioned off hand.
"Ah...am I going to need a visitor's pass or clearance or something," he asked. He kind of hoped they weren't going to keep him in this particular room...but he wasn't sure if he was going to be allowed to walk around in a place like this.

"Nope, you're actually the second," Daniel said, speaking altogether too casually. As if the situation wasn't a big deal. Which, considering what had been happening the past day or so, it wasn't necessarily. "Although technically this is the fourth incident; it's just that in the other two, I was the one who went dimension-traveling, and...that's part of the long story."
Bobby's last comment seemed to catch Sam's attention, and she shot both Bobby and Daniel an odd look. "Well, yes. I'm a little curious as to how you guessed that, though."
Daniel gave a nervous laugh. Well, this was awkward. "I may have mentioned a few things." At the look Sam was sending at him, he shrugged. "He's from another reality! Tell me where in the confidentiality agreement this is covered." Before Sam could come up with an answer, he gestured towards the door. "Come on, let's go show General Landry that he's harmless, and then we'll get something to eat. Sorry to cut short our session, Teal'c," he added with at least an effort at sincerity.
Teal'c nodded, standing by the door as the others walked out, as if to act as a rear-gaurd. As Bobby passed, he nodded his head again. "You are a skilled fighter, Bobby Pendragon."
Daniel grinned, overhearing the comment. He couldn't resist adding over his shoulder, "You should see him when he's doing it while hanging out of a moving car window."
