Do you think that this is perhaps some kind of alternate reality for the original inhabitants of this city that we have been pulled into? I understand such things are possible.

...That actually sounds like a very good theory. Perhaps the city was pulled into an alternate reality, and the effects are somehow extending into other realities. I'll keep that one in mind.

It might be that the entire city has somehow become trapped in an alternate reality. I can't say I've ever heard of anything like that, but we shouldn't discount the possibility. Alternate realities aren't the most explored of sciences.

You met an alternate version of yourself? I'd heard about that happening to a few people... The worst I've experienced is a friend showing up from four years BEFORE the time I was pulled from. Whatever is pulling us here, it doesn't seem to have much respect for regular time and space.

[dry laugh] I've had a little experience with alternate realities before this, actually. So I might have had an easier transition than some.
