Merry Christmas to all! The Twelve Days of Christmas at blackpearlsails has officially begun. For my gift to you, I am finally going to finish a story I began back in 2008, Bath Holiday, which is part of my post-CotBP Jack/Elizabeth universe. Crazy busy as I have been these last few weeks, I only have the repeat and update of chapter one (basically the same thing ( Read more... )

Oh, my dear friend, I'm so very sorry you got a Christmas bug, that's not the kind of gift one wants at all. I do hope you're feeling better today, and will be entirely recovered very soon, or at least to celebrate the new year. And that makes your own fic (Jack's portrait! *squees again*) doubly dear. *massive hugs*

It's the perfect totem for him imho becos he always acts as though that's what he means to do, regardless and he does land on his feet more often than not.

Isn't that the truth. Jack doesn't seem to be much for animals, but I think he'd like cats more than any other, for their independence, insouciance, and beauty.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, even when you were feeling so very under the weather. *hugs again and gives you hot tea and cookie*

Tea and cookie helps (imagine poor pitiful Pauline)...and now it's back to bed. Body is somehow offended by remaining upright for more than about 20 minutes...pissants, just dadblame squirrel bites (little annoyances). Missed by 60 b.d. and now Christmas...
Still, alive and reading between barfies...sweet dreams...

I hope you are feeling much more better now, but ack! you gave it to me, or I had its nasty little brother, have been so sick all week, and poor little Z and his mom and dad got it, too. :( May the New Year bring all of us better health!

This is one of the nastiest little devastations I have seen in a very long time. Got my whole family's families both sister and brother and I still feel like hammered grits. I will fight tooth and nail to stay the hell away from anyone who even hints they know someone who had it. I still have to think about food very carefully. I sorry it snuck up on you. Barfing babies are soooo pitiful--they just make such sad eyes. Hope you are feeling better...Feel like I was in a really bad movie Christmas Holiday from Hell lol. I would laugh, but my bod is still worn out from all the fun I had tossing my toes!
