There was a brief, uncomfortable pause." Sounds like it must've been quite a set to if Tom's peeps were aware of the changes. What the hecky do did Tom manage to get himself sideways to his faithfullest girl? And yes, I do know Tom's Jack's son...and so I'm thinkin' he had a thoughtless moment following his nose this way or that--kinda like what got him sideways of Jack. Would've had to have been a large stinky for Anne to run away to England...Dadblame it--he broke her heart didn't he...or am I totally off base? If I horribly wrong, I can be re=directed...
“Later!” she whispered,...Later, indeed, Jack mused, quite content to wait. Anticipation was a wondrous spice." And this is our pirate and lady is it not? I love that she loves him so, loves him still, that they don't have to bring the sexy back, they've kept that passion working for them every day!
