Went to the Happiest Place on Earth yesterday with niece
gingersnapps for the express purpose of taking pictures of the Christmas decorations. We went on Small World (so cute dressed for the holidays) and the train (to save us a little walking -- we did enough as it was) and on PotC (of course!), had a delightful dinner at the Wine Country Trattoria over in California Adventure, and brought back over 200 pictures (and still didn't get quite all we'd planned). Here's the first part...
Main Street station is garlanded.
Lots of poinsettias being used in the planters.
The horse drawn street car was being put away for the day (I expect it's not safe when the park gets crazy crowded). The horse had poinsettias woven into mane and tail.
The big Christmas tree in town square -- just under 65 feet tall.
Garlands over Main Street
Every building is garlanded.
These are some of the decorations in the Blue Ribbon Bakery...
More flowers in beds -- cyclamen and amaryllis and sweet alyssum.
And more poinsettias...
The castle, in holiday dress.
A close-up of the wreath in front of the castle.
From the bridge in front of the castle, overlooking the moat. The Snow White grotto is seen in the trees beyond the smaller bridge.
