Wonderful Recs!
Two more great stories. They've been recced by others, but it bears repeating. artaxastra's wonderful Welcome to the Caribbean is a PotC/Hornblower crossover that is funny and wonderfully characterized, and shouldn't be missed. It's about young Captain Hornblower's annoyance over a privateer's ship taking precedence over his own in the matter of provisioning, and a subsequent encounter with Admiral Norrington who tells him how things are arranged in Port Royal. Then you must read the sequel, penknife's Time and Tide, which features interaction between Captain Turner of said privateer and the owner (and resident pirate) of the ship. Too too good! Enjoy!
