[Malik's practically skipping out of the apartment, ecstatic that he's holding Raikou's hand. It's been so long since he just held someone's hand. No grabbing, no gropes, no trying to cop a feel or attacking- just holding hands. No ulterior motives. Well, at least, not from Raikou.]

So where's this pastry shop? I want something yummy! [smiles, genuinely happy]

[Well, you've definatly suprised him a bit Malik, grabbing his hand like that. Hizumi grabbed his arm and tugged him along in the arcade before, but they were all forming a chain and trying not to get seperated in the crowd. Even so, he lets you tug him along.]

That way. [He points down the street.] And I'm pretty sure it wasn't too far. [And then he's pulling you along.]

[Malik's a little surprised by that move. Perhaps Raikou is as enthusiastic as he is? Malik would usually rather be doing the dragging, just getting told "Turn right, turn left", but this wasn't actually that bad either...]

You think they have donuts? [Because Malik has a secrets weakness for donuts... just like 99% of the world.]

Actualy, yes. I'm almost positive I saw donuts on display. [Because Raikou always pays special attention to what's on the food carts. Just in case there's something that looks too tasty to pass up.]

YES! I love donuts! Then again, I have yet to meet a person who doesn't like donuts... What kinds of foods do you like, Raikou? [trying to open a conversation in a genuine attempt to learn more about Raikou]

I like all sorts of foods. I prefer sweet foods. Expecialy anything with honey in it. [Raikou loves his honey. He puts huge globs of it in his coffee and tea.] But I guess when you get down to it I'm not really very picky. [He's the man who could eat Zexion's brownies, learn what was in them and still eat another one. Gau had been pretty horrified about that.] What about you, Malik-San?

I like everything- except meat. You learn not to be picky once you've cut meat and fish out fo your diet, because there's not much else to eat. I like smoothies a lot though. And koshari!

Koshari? What's that?

It's rice and pasta with lentils and chickpeas, and garlic and spicy tomato sauce on top! [smiles] It's really delicious!

It's too bad I didn't know that before we came. Gau could have made that instead. [A chuckle.] It does sound delicious. I'd like to try it sometime. [He points up ahead.] Ah. There's the cart.

[Malik sure loves pastries. No telling what that poor guy running the cart thinks--having them darting up to the cart like that. Expecially looking the way they do.]

Ohhhhhh my god, look at everything- it all looks so delicious! What do you want Raikou? I know I want donuts! [still holding Raikou's hand, even as he notices the creeped out look the cart owner is giving them- they must look gayer than the Fruit Loops toucan]

[Raikou's never notices when people give him weird looks. He's just giving the selection a good look. If heaven were a pastry cart, it would be this pastry cart, he's sure.] Actualy, donuts sounds great. [And then something else catches his eye.] And some funnel cake.

[He points it out in the display] That is funnel cake. Doesn't it look tasty? They don't seem to have the kind with jam, but I like the ones with sugar better anyway.
