Is it sad this is a common update now?

I've got enough RL friends between here and Facebook this is the quickest way to send out notes to everyone.

We saw the Dr. who did the Ventriculostomy. He was funny.... I really liked him. He joked that if our doctor didn't take good care of us to come see him and he'd "set him straight".... (which is super ( Read more... )

I'm planning on making a cake for the party on saturday if that is still happening.

We had a screaming match this morning because I told him he had to take a nap every day (or at least a "rest" time for 1-2 hours). He asked when I would treat him like an adult, and I said when he stopped acting like a toddler.

He didn't take a nap yesterday (baby was sick so I stayed home with her and I wasn't pushy specifically to see what he did)...he pushed himself ALL day. Not hard stuff, just not resting. I know he wants to be "normal" but he had BRAIN SURGERY almost 3 weeks ago. By the end of the night he wasn't coherent. He couldn't answer simple questions like "what show were we watching on TV". And that scares me. A lot.

I cant take this from HIM and my mom, AND now my dad is back in the fucking hospital for pneumonia AGAIN.

Can he smoke/drink? Not that I need him more chemically altered, but it's just the most convenient excuse for step-away guy time.

His doctor said he can do anything "light". He even drove like 4 miles yesterday. No swimming alone in the ocean, no jumping from a plane... you know. :)

So yeah he can probably drink and smoke. Just...not overboard. 1 drink, he's too thin anything more might make him tipsy.

And I dont want him on freeways driving yet.
