I hate the Chinese.

So it's been long enough since I've posted in this thing that the new layout is wigging me out.
And of course, my reason for posting is the worst possible one: to distract me from starting work on Phase II of my senior thesis. Having provided sufficient background on the development of the Chinese Communist Party and it's nemesis the Kuomintang,I must now recount and analyze the role the American military played in aiding both in fighting the Japanese during World War II.
My love/hate relationship with the craft of history has never been so violently bi-polar and destabilizing!
I will say, though, that I love the readability statistics function. So far only 13% passive sentences and a reading grade level of 17.7. Say... that's almost 18... I'm six years out of 12th grade... That's spot on!
