Mephis

I havn't posted in a while because I've been in Mephis since tuesday. I had to go to Mephis with my parents, because my dad had the ASTC (American Society of Trail Consultants). My dad is this big hot shot and the new president-elect and needed my mom's help for a little while. It's weird to see my dad with 2 to 3 people around him all the time wanting to talk to him. Maybe it's because when my dad is at home he wears overalls and drives the tractor. He is a completely different person in his professional life and it's just that I had never seen him professionally. It's not a bad different, but it is just a different daddy and that's weird.
Anyway, my mom and i had fun together. We went to visit Rhodes which is my safty school, but is very nice and beautiful and i would have no problems going there if i had to. We went to the Masters of Florence exibit which was amasing and to the Rock and Soul Museum. We also went to Gibson factory and saw how they made guitars. That was sooo cool and i understand why they cost so much. They are all made mostly by hand.
We stayed at the Peabody Hotel which had ducks that swim in the center fountain everyday. They live on the roof and everyday at 11:00 they march from the roof into the elevators and then walk on a RED carpet to the fountain. Everyday at 5:00 they walk back. It's really fun, but all sorts of people come and make the hotel crowed. My dad's employee, Gary, had his son who is 6 be honorary duck master and walk with the ducks. it was fun. However, the hotel survives on the ducks, so everything in the hotel is "ducky." There's duck soap, a duck store, and duck coffee stirer. At first it was cute, but it became a bit excessive the longer we stayed. I stole duck soap. Well, my mom stole it and gave it to me. She is such a kelpto.
Flake should hang out with me again.

P.S. I HATE the word schmooze. I have problems pronouncing "S" "CH" and "Z" and the "SCHM" is a hard combination to pronounce. For the girl with the speech impediment it is the word from HELL.
