Jimmy Bean's newsletter this month had a cool idea. Knit 12 scarves, one per month, same yarn, different color ways, then you have a stack of scarves that can be used throughout the year, then at the end, stitch them together into a blanket. Normally the blanket making process is stupid and takes up space, so I like this idea of using the pieces as you make them. Plus, the expense is broken down into much smaller increments. I think for the yarn she was using, it was $17/mo.

Also. I want to combine my two great hair loves: dreads and mohawks. Into some sort of wig device. or something i could attach and then slick my own hair down or something. Cause damn, dreadhawk!
