Zelda triforce cufflinks

These were a commission for someone from a local LJ community who was looking for an artist in the area to make triforce cufflinks for her boyfriend. Being a fan of the Zelda games and geekery in general, I was really happy to work on these. I made them from copper and brass, with sterling links and bars on the backs. There were some technical challenges--you'd think that making such simple shapes would be easy, but the tiny triangles with such perfectly matched angles and lines leaves little room for error with sawing/filing. Once I polished everything up, though, I was happy with how they turned out--and there was much squeeing when I delivered them to her and her boyfriend today :)

This gives you a better idea of how the backing attachments work. Each jump ring is soldered shut.
