Mario, Zelda, and Tetris things
Like everyone else, I have stumbled upon this magical place of geekery and nerdiness through the LJ Spotlight. I haven't made a lot of nerdy things, but damnit - I intend to! So far I only have a couple photos of things I have made, as the others have been made and then given away before I managed a photo of them.
Here is some Mario jewelery I have made. Just the red ones tho, as I haven't fastened the blue or green ones to earrings yet. There's a Triforce necklace I made as well, which I get a lot of comments on since I wear it every day. :p (I love how people at the bank or random shops know what it is. Makes my day!) And a penguin. Because I love penguins. <3 These ones are all made out of polymer clay.

I made these silly Tetris pieces out of yarn and plastic canvas. They're actually magnets so I can play Tetris on my fridge, or so my friends can try and make words out of them. (I have about 5 or 6 of each piece, but I figured I would just show one of each.) They look a lot better in real life, as my camera isn't so great with the lighting in my apartment.
I made a Space Invader pin out of the same material as well, but I gave it to my boyfriend as a good luck charm for his exam before I was able to get a picture of it. :)
I hope by joining this community I gain enough inspiration and motivation to spend more time crafting, because I have a lot of ideas for things I already want to make. <3
