Just a couple of things..
First off, I'm happy to have found this community through the spotlight, It's fabulous and everyone is so talented!
That said, I'd like to add my small attempts at geek craftiness ^_^
First off we have Calvin Plushie!
He's about 6 inches tall, completely hand sewn and made out of felt with little touches of fabric paint. His tongue is embroidered.
(his shirt makes me unhappy tho cause I didn't realize the stripes on his arms were so short until after I'd sewn his head onto his body o.O Other then that tho I'm pleased with him :D )
Second is Nyatta, a little brother kitten from the short anime film "Nekojiru-So" or "Cat Soup"
With a comparison pic. He's made completely out of felt but painted entirely with fabric paint because I wanted to try something out XD The flower is removable, held to his hand by velcro.
I've been really into painting and decoupaging boxes lately and I've done more then a few, but not all qualify as "geeky", this one I know definitely does:
PACMAN!
Completely hand painted with acrylic, took about 4 hours of straight work. I had a blast with this one, I mean, who doesn't in some little way love Pacman? ^_^
I'm currently working on another "geek" box, this time much bigger and the theme is Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. It's coming along really well!
