Some Numbers Geekery

Sep 22, 2013 18:29

I haven't posted in a while, though I've still been making things. I thought I'd drop by and share some physics, math, and biology stuff with you guys! I've still been enjoying everyone else's goodies, though. For a while I was working three jobs and it was difficult to find the time to make things, let alone list them on Etsy or share them in blog posts, you know? Not gonna lie to you all: I'm moving across the ocean to be with my long-suffering geeky boyfriend, so it would be really super awesome if you could do me a solid and took some stuff off my hands! ;)

PHYSICS!

Physics multi-strand bracelet with Planck's constant,
speed of light (in a vacuum), and the Newtonian constant of gravity.

MATH!

Pi bracelet in labradorite and sterling silver.

QUANTUM PHYSICS + BIOLOGY!

Electron radius in green aventurine, glass, mother of pearl, and copper.
(Inspired by the world's tiniest vertebrate!)

If you want more information about how, exactly, my jewelry contains numbers, please see this explanation on my jewelry blog. Or ask in the comments. :D If you feel at all moved to buy a piece or two from my Etsy (linked above), you can use the coupon code SWEDEN for free shipping or (special to you LJ folk) ELLJAY for 15% off.

Have a very geeky Halloween, everyone! :B
