Game of Thrones Dragon Plush
My girlfriend is so awesomely talented is so many artistic aspects, including working with fabrics to make costumes and accessories. This weekend she'll be going to a local convention and she's decided to cosplay Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thones. Not only have I been watching her make an incredibly accurate costume from scratch, but she's also made her own plush Drogon the dragon to take with her.
He took a good month to make from scratch, working out herself how to cut the pieces of material and how he fits together. His body is made from black felt, his wings from red cotton fabric that sunlight shines through beautifully. His eyes are embroidered, and last but not least, he has a complicated wire frame that not only holds the detailed form of his head, but also allows for his tail and feet to be posed and for his wings to be opened or folded up.
He's really cool and I want one now too!
