...and now we wait...and wait...and WAIT...on the Christmas Special...
So, long story short, my house flooded and I ended up moving in with my mother and her husband until the repairs are finished. It's been a LONG few months, two different contractors, and about $25,000 (because WHO IN SMALL TOWN MID-GEORGIA HAS FLOOD INSURANCE??), and a lot of unhappiness (I will be 30 in January. I have an 11pm curfew on ALL nights.), and I cannot wait to get HOME. But, nevertheless, I was cleaning out my closet here at mom's, trying to figure out what to give to goodwill, what to use for sewing projects, etc....Basiclly, I wanted to clean out my closet because I was bored and I'm weird...What else are Whovians supposed to do on saturday nights between now and The Christmas Special (AKA: The return of Miss Oswin Oswald!), actually get a social life? Uh, nope. Anyway, guess what I found? That's right, my old LiteBrite!
So, I started looking at it, and since my house is old and looks it (built in the early 70's), I thought it might match the lava lamp, glitter lamp, and disco ball in the den...And I started messing around and designing a new litebrite image, like I used to do when I was, like, 12...AND I MADE A TARDIS.
I had originally wanted to make it say "GEEKonomics" because every time I see a magazine ad for Geico, and it sais "Geckonomics", I get really excited thinking is says "geekonomics", but it doesn't. I couldn't make it work on the litebrite screen anyway, so I had to satisfy my nerdery differently.
And I felt the need to share with you guys, cause you'll appreciate it too:
