Very nice work and I appreciate your detailed description of your process. I just watched 2001 again, after a long time, on tv a few weeks ago. I saw it numerous times in the theatre when it was first released -- it was an assigment by our high school science teacher to go see it. (Dating myself, obviously!) It is still so impressive.

Thank you! I'll go ahead and date myself in turn -- I'm from the Class of 2001 and I was *pissed* when we didn't get to march out to "Also Sprach Zarathustra." My Contemporary Issues teacher ran the movie and insisted on fast forwarding through what she deemed "the boring parts" -- i.e. half the film.

I've watched the movie many, many times and I am never disappointed. I always see new things I didn't see before.
