I'm switching over to Cingular from Sprint. I'm taking my existing number with me, so it won't change, but trying to get hold of me using it may be a little wonky for a few days. I should have the new phone (a Samsung P207) by the end of the week.

Had been thinking about getting a new phone, and it was far cheaper to switch to someone else than it was to get a new phone and commit to a new contract at Sprint. I never had any problems with Sprint's network, but the $1100 phone bill because they had a glitch in their webapp that signed me up for 8 concurrent 2-year contracts (the $1100 came from the early termination fees incurred when I got them to cancel 7 of the contracts) that took three months to get straightened out sort of put me off of their customer service.
