BICE is really looking up!

Wow... The past few months have been really, really hectic trying to help secretly organise things for Bristol for both OUC and A51, but now things are really looking up: big time.

I spend most days sending emails back and forth, the result of which, as some of you may already know, is this.
Me and Ian have been conspiring and researching to get the BEST films that we could possibly manage (although Highlander: Search For Vengeance and VZE were already a given), and the lineup... Well, see for yourself!
We have a winner of George Lucus's own patented Fan Film Award (Star Wars: Revelations) and a premiere (Highlander: Search For Vengeance)! What more could you want?.. More? Okay, how about a mocumentary of Superman (aka Clark Kent) in Losing Lois Lane, or an utterly random and completely "ROFL" experience in the form of AMV Hell: 3? And there may be yet to come...

I am so proud of myself, right now. Just being a part of this... Even in a small way.
All I did was find the films and email them for permission - lolz. It isn't a hardship, really. Ah, but to sit and watch fan films all day, every day... What a torment! Hehe.
Ian and Pete were the real organisers, sending emails to the Bristol organisers okaying it all, and for suggesting (and organising, of course) that we fundraise for the Orangutan Foundation UK, which is a very worthy cause, and a brilliant opportunity.
It is going to be AWESOME, and I really hope that everyone will enjoy it as much as we have done organising it.
And, of course, I hope that Orang Utan Comics will be all the better for it! :-)

Meanwhile, at Area 51 Radio Station, things are looking up at Bristol, too... I can't really say, but thanks to much brainstorming on the part of myself and Geoff Carter, my boss, and founder of A51, we hope to have some big announcements soon...
I CAN, however, tell you that I am going to be doing new reviews on a weekly basis, both in written, and now audio form, as well as venturing out into the world to do some interviews with people within the comic industry, including artists and writers attending the Bristol International Comic Expo in May.

Honestly, keep watching this space!
Oh, and if you are on MySpace, this one (OUC) and this one (A51).
ComicSpace, too? Why didn't you say so?! This one, too.
