Lost. Season 2 Finale. If you don't wanna know about it or arent interested, please jump to paragraph 3... But this is what I did last night. My whole evening was based around these two hours, aiming so that I could be the most comfortable and relaxed I could be for this. So there I was, lying on my bed, jug of water on one side, half a Terry's Chocolate Orange on the other, ready to begin. And it did. It was two hours of adventure. I love the fact that i still have no idea what is going on. I know turns a lot of people off about this show, but it is refreshing to have a show that isnt obvious and linear. Above any other show, this is the one i think about, puzzle over and obsess on. Nothing comes close to the level of attention this show demands and deserves.
The episodes themselves were some of the strongest of the series. Any series of this length will suffer from bad episodes (The Rose and Bernard one...anyone?) but these were spot on. They sought to answer many questions that this series and posed, and answer them in a real and believable way. But then unloaded a whole new set of questions on us, four toes? why are the diaries just kept in a big ol' heap? I truly cannot wait til the next series, I will be downloading it as soon as possible.
On a none-Lost note, following my completion of Half-Life 2, I have decided to go back try to complete those games that I bought and played but gave up on. First up is Cold Fear. This follows the story of you as a coast guard, exploring an abandoned ship, now teeming with zombies. But the most disturbing part of the game is that the boat is always pitchin due to the rolling seas around it. So every step becomes a measured journey, and any thin walkways are postively dangerous. In addition to this, its bloody hard! But I will push through!
