So I just finished reading this article on AOL about how Gore is starting to speak out and attack Bush, and I just have to vent a little bit.
I'm sick and tired of Bush critics being called "over the top" and "out of touch" because (to put it quite simply) they're not. Some time within the next week or so, I'm going to go watch Fahrenheit 911. I'm going to love it and then tell the rest of you how god damn good it is.
Bush has somehow been able to pull of a load of bullshit right in front of our eyes, and yet there are those of us (republicans) who support him wholeheartedly. If you believe that there was a direct link, and I mean DIRECT link, between Osama and Sadam...there's something wrong with you. If you don't see that Bush has consistantly used his power to question the credibility of his opposers...there's something wrong with you. If you honestly believe that Bush has been a better president than Clinton...there's something wrong with you. If you believe that lying under the oath about an affair is worse than an unjust war...there's something wrong with you. If you believe that there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq...we're getting to the point where there's something wrong with you.
I'm tired of all this country music shit about being behind our troups and supporting their call of duty. I love our fucking troups as much as the next fucker, but I'm sick of waking up every fucking morning to the sound of "two more soldiers died today in a small battle just outside of Baghdad," "four soldiers were killed today when they were ambushed by a group of Hussein loyalists." Bush is such a disgusting human being. He's attempted to use Ronald Reagan (another republican asshole if you ask me) in his ads to boost his campaign WITHOUT the permission of the Reagan family. Bush has attempted to discredit the medals of honor received by Kerry to down play his less than average roll in the military during vietnam. And on top of everything...there's something wrong when the President of the United States of America can't pronounce 'nuclear'. When it all comes down to it...I guess all I can say is that if we re-elect Bush come this November...we deserve every single inch of shit we are currectly suffocating under.
In other news:
My grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. PARTY!!!
